Capitol Day

Capitol Day  –  Wednesday, February 20, 2019

Capitol Day 2019 will be quite different than in past years.

It will be one day instead of two days.

Also, for a number of reasons, including the passage of Amendment 1 (Clean Missouri), we will no longer be providing a pancake breakfast for legislators and their staffs in the Capitol Rotunda.

The sole focus of this year’s event will be legislative advocacy.

Registration is required and costs $25 per person.  That cost does include a box lunch.  Those that register will be assigned to teams of 2-3 people who will be provided with informative fliers that highlight the impact and importance of tourism nationally, statewide and locally. The fact is that Missouri’s travel industry creates jobs, tax revenue and economic development. Tourism is vital to Missouri’s overall economy. Thus, continued support of Missouri’s tourism industry is critically important to continue driving revenue that strengthens the state’s overall economic health. Tourism Matters!
